Founder & Director of Player Development

Growing up Charles played for the Valley Forge Minutemen, Team Comcast, and won a 16u national championship with the Hollydell Hurricanes. After playing JR A in NJHL he would go on to play ACHA D1 hockey for Temple University.

Growing up Charles played for the Valley Forge Minutemen, Team Comcast, and won a 16u national championship with the Hollydell Hurricanes. After playing JR A in NJHL he would go on to play ACHA D1 hockey for Temple University.

Charles has been a level 4 USA hockey coach for over 10 years and has studied how to develop highly skilled players while being an instructor at the international ice hockey school in Pisek, Czech Republic.

Off the ice, Charles also has had great success in inline hockey. He is currently the director of player development for the US national program whereas a player he won two gold medals and as a coach has won 5 world championships.

Coaching Philosophy

Charles is a systematic but offensive-oriented player-coach. Having played and won at both the national & international levels he knows how and where the players have been. Instilling life success skills such as communication, trust, and perseverance, Charles does not only look to build successful athletes but professionals & leaders of tomorrow.

Joe Deptula

Skills Development Coach

Joe Deptula brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for hockey to his coaching career, shaped by years of playing and coaching at various competitive levels. Joe was a NCAA Div III hockey player at Western New England College. 

Joe Deptula brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for hockey to his coaching career, shaped by years of playing and coaching at various competitive levels. Joe was a NCAA Div III hockey player at Western New England College. 

His coaching journey began in 2012 as a skills coach at the Nytex Sports Center in North Richland Hills, Texas, where he focused on developing players' technical abilities and game sense.

From 2012 to 2015, Joe served as an assistant coach for the Billings Bulls, helping guide the team to success through his strategic insights and ability to develop talent. In the 2014-2015 season, he stepped into the head coaching role, further demonstrating his leadership and commitment to team excellence.

Joe continued to grow as a coach at the collegiate level, joining Bryn Athyn College as an assistant coach for the 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 seasons. There, he worked closely with student-athletes to enhance their skills on the ice while emphasizing academic and personal development.

With over a decade of coaching experience across various levels of hockey, Joe Deptula is dedicated to fostering the next generation of players, instilling in them the values of hard work, discipline, and a love for the game.
